If you already own that amount, you wouldn’t be able to buy more. I own 96 in AMC, I can’t buy more. Others are reporting they can’t even buy 5 of GME.

Personal recollection / not independently verified Published with permissionI can’t quite remember, but I do remember tweeting and thinking, “This should be a movie.” It felt like proof that the game was rigged when the buy button was disabled—probably not even Robinhood’s fault, but powers over their heads controlling them. That made it even more sketchy when they eventually basically said that was the case.
